About Me
Karen L Heim Freelance Illustrator
Hello, I am Karen, an illustrator from Ohio specializing in pattern designs, paintings, and illustrations. In November, I will finish my last class toward the Master of Arts in Illustration.
When I am not teaching middle school students or painting new designs, I visit schools, nursing homes, and hospitals with my two therapy dogs, Milo and Murphy.
Artistic Media
My designs incorporate mixed media such as watercolor, gouache, textured acrylics, oil, and digital elements, which define the distinctive character of each piece.
